Top 10 Holiday Events To Attend In Florida 2017

Florida may not have a “White Christmas” but that doesn’t mean we don’t have other things to look forward to for the holidays!

10. SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration

Centered mainly on the kids’ holiday experience, it is still a wonderful place to visit as a date night, family night or anything in between. During the day, SeaWorld celebrates the holidays with shows like Elmo’s Christmas Wish, Clyde and Seamore’s Countdown To Christmas, and many more. At night, is when all the beautiful lights turn on along with holiday songs as well as the “Sea Of Trees” (pictured above).

Where: Orlando, Fl

When: November 24 – December 31

9. Busch Gardens Christmas Town

At Busch Gardens you can meet Rudolph and his friends, explore Christmas Town and watch wonderful shows! Of course, there are plenty of lights to check out too! It’s perfect for the whole family!

7. Holidays at Universal Orlando Resort

I must say, I love going to Universal all times of the year, the holidays especially. They go almost all out. There is a Macy’s holiday parade, the Grinch can be spotted around “Suess Landing”, and on top of that the Harry Potter attractions “magically” bring it all together with their beautifully done lighting and decorations.

6. Santa’s Enchanted Forest

It’s a Christmas Carnival! – No really, it is! They have rides just for kids as well as animal shows, rides for the family and rides just for adults and teenagers!

Where: Miami, Fl

When: November 2 – January 7

5. Surfing Santas

This is one that I will be sure to attend this year! It’s free and anyone is welcome to surf or watch. It definitely adds a different twist of fun to the holiday spirit!

3. ICE!

Mostly indoor, the Marriott hotel hosts a variety of things to do here at the Gaylord Palms Resort. You can visit with Santa, view live shows, and see Christmas around the world through ice sculptures!
